XLab Participates in the American Society for Gravitational and Space Research Conference

This past November, XLab members attended the American Society for Gravitational and Space Research held in Houston, Texas from November 9th - 12th. Nadin Souki presented her research on “Graphene Aerogel for Infrared Light Absorption and Sensing” and Michael Chhay presented his research on “Thermal Stability of Graphene Aerogel for Microgravity Applications”. Pictured from left to right are undergraduate researchers Michael Chhay and Nadin Souki. They had the opportunity to attend talks hosted by the International Space Station National Laboratory, network with leaders in the microgravity field, converse with past astronauts, and receive a tour of the famous Houston Johnson Space Center!
