Jasmine Cox

Ph.D. Candidate

Jasmine received her B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Applied Mathematics from Boise State University in 2020. During her undergraduate academic career, Jasmine was a Ronald E. McNair Scholar and a member of the Advanced Nanomaterials and Manufacturing Laboratory focusing on additive manufacturing of flexible hybrid electronics. An internship at NASA Ames Research Center in 2018 lead to her interest in utilizing new techniques to develop electronics for in-space applications. This was further solidified by working on the In-Space Manufacturing directive at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in 2019 as an intern.  In XLab, her current research explores utilizing the microgravity environment found in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) to synthesize materials and fabricate devices for emerging applications on Earth and in space.
