Jiya Janowitz

M.S. Graduate in Aeronautics & Astronautics

Jiya is a first year Master's student in the Aeronautics & Astronautics Department at Stanford University, where he received his B.S. in Materials Science & Engineering with a minor in Physics in 2019. His research interests within the EXtreme Environment Microsystems Laboratory include the implementation of magnetic field sensors in unique industrial environments. He interned at the SLAC Linac Coherent Light Source (LCLS) (2016-2018) concurrent with his undergraduate career. He is a Stanford Engineering Coterminal Fellowship recipient, an International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT) Scholar, and a QuestBridge National College Match Recipient.
