Katheryn Kornegay

PhD Student

Katheryn received her B.S. in Physics from Pomona College in 2020. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering. Her interests are in understanding the mechanics and degradation of thin films and sustainable materials. Her current research is detecting cracks in thin film stack structures with an acoustic emission test method and characterizing the physical properties of mycelium biocomposites.
