TaNia Donatto

Undergraduate Student

TaNia will receive her B.S. and M.S degrees in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University in 2023 and 2024, respectively. Her interests include polymers, smart materials, and anything related to space applications or sustainability. Currently in XLab, she is working on the Graphene Aerogel in Microgravity project's electrical property characterization and has helped with outreach activities regarding it.

In 2021, TaNia was awarded the highly competitive Brooke Owens Fellowship which afforded her the opportunity to intern with SpaceX's Materials Engineering-Polymers team. In 2022, she completed her second internship with them, but will pivot to working with the Space Suits and Crew Equipment team on design and qualification in Summer 2023. Outside of engineering TaNia is a poet, on the Stanford Axe Committe, loves dance, and enjoys watching movies and reality TV.
